Description
This document is a release outlining the situation of NSA, Turkey and the PKK, and complications due to the NSA SIGINT partnership with Turkey. The NSA describes the PKK action in northern Iraq and "cross-border operations" as an Iraqi sovereignty issue. The document refers to an ongoing partnership between the NSA and two Turkish security partners, This includes NSA providing the handset location of PKK target inside Turkey as well as a focused "follow-the-money" effort against PKK finances.
